As part of each campaign we identify the key contacts within specific industry sectors, carry out internet research and compile databases of contacts. We contact each person, ensuring that we comply with TPS, and discuss the services and products provided by our client. This results in information and demonstration products being sent out either by post or email. By taking a consultative approach to selling, we are able to develop relationships with prospects and identify short and long-term business opportunities. The client then uses the leads generated by the telemarketing campaigns to build their sales pipeline.
In 2002 we started working with a software house, in
Lancashire which employed 4 people. The client needed to improve cash flow, turnover and
efficiency. They found that even though sales were increasing, they had a
high percentage of debtors, cash flow was very poor - they seemed to have reached
the point of diminishing returns, and overheads were draining their remaining
After an initial period of reviewing the existing processes, we implemented credit control systems, sales management processes and targeted marketing campaigns. This resulted in turnover increasing by 300%, the number of staff increased to 12 and the number of clients increased by 150%. In 2004 the software house was bought out by a leading provider of software solutions and services, employing over 200 staff.
